In the Name of God, the Merciful and the Compassionate
A statement issued by the National and Islamic Forces
No Voice higher than the Voice of the Intifada
The call for resisting normalization and reinforcing the national independent identity

Our great Palestinian masses
Our Arab and Islamic Masses
Our Intifada heroes

Your blessed Intifada: the Intifada of Aqsa, Jerusalem, Independence and Return, enters its fifth month at a time when Zionist and US conspiracies escalate towards ending the Intifada, but the will, insistence and determination and the escalation of the resistance and masses support towards reinforcing its national independent identity prevent the enemies from executing their schemes. The Intifada, which expresses the will of the masses in steadfastness and resistance, will impose the conditions of its sustainability, development and escalation.

The National and Islamic Forces who face with their masses and popular and official forces the crimes of state terrorism, assassinations, random shelling and siege reject any formula of security coordination with this enemy and demand from the national security apparatuses to protect the strugglers who resist occupation. The Forces condemn the arrest of the heroes of resistance at a time when the apparatuses must focus their efforts to confront the series of Zionist assassination and arrest and try the collaborators and spies.

The popular steadfastness all over the homeland requires from all apparatuses and institutions to focus their support on the regions that are hit hardest by the aggression, especially the Old City of Hebron, which needs permanent support to confront the continuous aggression of settlers and occupation army.

The National and Islamic Forces call upon the masses to participate in the following activities:

1- Sunday, January 28, 2001, a day to call for resisting normalization and activate the activities and support the first popular conference to resist the normalization to be held in Ramallah and activate similar activities in the districts.
2- Monday, January 29, 2001, a day to call for night marches to celebrate the start of the fifth month of the Intifada and affirm the resistance of normalization and reinforce the national independent identity.
3- Friday, February 2, 2001, a day of mass marches in the homeland and in the Diaspora and call upon the Arab and Islamic masses to activate the policy of resisting normalization on the popular level as expressed by the Islamic masses in Indonesia.

The strength of the Palestinian national position in all fields of struggle is based at this phase on the activities of the Intifada that will realize the potentials of the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic masses and all those who desire peace and freedom and those who ratify our national rights all over the world.

Long live the blessed Intifada
Glory and eternity for our martyrs
Fast recovery to the injured and freedom for our heroic prisoners
It is an Intifada until victory
