Our great Palestinian masses
Our Arab and Islamic Masses
Our heroes of the Intifada

At the time when Israeli aggression is being escalated in all its various forms against our people, the government of Sharon-Peres announces its tactical dealing with the Egyptian-Jordanian Initiative. In light of this initiative, the operations of assassination, siege, and settlements escalate to blow up all good- intention efforts towards peace and to reinforce the long term interim agreements, occupation, settlements and eliminate the Intifada, the Intifada of the Aqsa, Jerusalem, Independence and Return.

The National and Islamic Forces affirm their position that calls for the need to isolate the government of Sharon-Peres and not to provide it with any means to extend its period which causes more suffering to the Palestinian people. The Forces reject any initiative coming from any party that aims to stop the Intifada and that tries to attack our national rights; the Forces reject any initiative that does not lead to the end of settlements and occupation of our lands and to achieving the goals of our people in return, freedom and independence. The Forces demand the Arab countries not to become mediators between Palestine and the Zionist entity. The government of Sharon is violating every day the agreements that were held under US sponsorship. The US is proving its bias to its interests and to the Zionist entity, including its intervention to stop Sharon from rampaging in a manner that threatens the US interests in the region.

The National and Islamic Forces affirm that the call for returning to the situation before the launching of the Intifada on September 28, 2000, ignores the reasons that led to the Intifada which was not just a result of Sharon's raid on the Aqsa Mosque but came to respond to the whole US-Zionist policies against the rights and aspirations of our people in freedom, independence, return, the establishment of the independent sovereign Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital.

The National and Islamic Forces commend the positive steps of opening the file that exposes the corrupt persons; the Forces call for handling the issue from all angles and bring those involved to trial and punish them. This step will have important significance in uniting the internal front and reinforcing the confidence among the Palestinian people at the popular and official levels.

The National and Islamic Forces call on our masses and merchants to abide by the decision to empty the markets by May 1, 2001, from the goods that were announced in the Lists announced by the Popular Committee on Boycotting Israeli Products.

The National and Islamic Forces extend greetings to our steadfast laborers on Labor Day and urge them for more unity on elected democratic bases that constitute the basic pillars of the steadfastness of our people and the sustainability of the Intifada and resistance. Laborers of Palestine.. Unite over the goal of freedom, national independence, and defending the laborers interests.

The National and Islamic Forces commend the Conference in Support to the Intifada that was held in Tehran and call for additional conferences that support our blessed and heroic Intifada and resistance.

The National and Islamic Forces call on the Palestinian masses to participate in the following activities:

1- Tuesday, May 1, 2001: the International Labor Day, a day of solidarity with the masses of our steadfast laborers to be expressed in massive marches that end with solidarity festivals with laborers and their steadfastness and fighting unemployment and creating job opportunities.
2- Friday, May 4, 2001: A day of Palestinian constants and rejection to initiatives that isolate the government of Sharon. The call to escalate confrontation of settlements through marches and activities as seen appropriate in each district in the manner they deem appropriate.

The National and Islamic Forces affirm that the month of May is the month of the Nakba that was inflicted on our people; this anniversary carries painful memories that should be expressed with activities that continue in the homeland and the Diaspora to reach their peak on May 15. May 9th will be a day of activities by the Palestinian trade unions to mark the Nakba in which marches will be organized in the homeland.

The National and Islamic Forces call on the Arab and Islamic parties and forces and popular associations to consider May 15th, the anniversary of the Nakba, to be a day of solidarity with the Palestinian people and their blessed Intifada.

Long live the blessed Intifada
Glory and eternity for our martyrs
Fast recovery to the injured and freedom for our heroic prisoners
It is an Intifada until victory
