| In Gaza near Netsarim settlement
TV screens documented a murder crime in cold blood, a child Muhammad Jamal
Al-Dareh, 12 years old dies in the arms of his wounded father. The crime
shocked the whole world as it showed the atrocity of an occupation that
does not know mercy or respond to an appeal by a frightened wounded child
and his helpless father who had to watch his son die in his arms.
The media were watching and have
no other choice but to watch a young child and his father are besieged
opposite to a wall and nothing to protect them from the heavy bullet shooting
but only a small cement block on the road.
The scene of the boy martyrdom and
the severely wounded father in Natsarim area in Gaza Strip during the bloody
clashes which took place on Saturday September 30 were broadcast by the
French TV – Channel 2.. Mohamnmed al-Durra, a father of seven children,
was coming back from the car market accompanied by his son towards al-Briej.
They were stuck in that area which witnessed violent clashes. To avoid
the shooting, they sought refuge behind a cement barrier. The shot shows
that the child Muhammad and his father are unarmed and barehanded, lying
on the ground behind a cement block and screaming seeking for help, and
the father was calling on the Israeli soldiers to cease fire; he tired
to protect his son with his body but the bullets shot the young child in
the chest, leaving the father severely wounded and unconscious.
It is unbelievable, all the world
watched the execution live. The crime lasted about 45 minutes while no
Palestinian was able to come close to them because of the heavy fire. Bassam
Bulbeisi, the driver of an ambulance at the site, who tried to go and evacuate
them was also shot dead a few minutes later. What kind of a human being
can continue shooting until he kills the boy. What can Israel say? Can
it claim it is self-defense?!
Later on, the Israeli army spokesperson
justifies the incident that thousands of demonstrators were attacking the
Israeli soldiers and they were firing against them. But if a small kid
watch the TV screen of the scene he will realize that they were insisting
to kill them.
Finally, Nabil Abu Rdeineh - Arafat
President advisor said that the TV shot affirm that the child is innocent
and killed in cold blood and all of the world was witness on that crime.

....The scene defies linguistic description....A 12-year
old child, in his father arms, both seeking cover against a concrete wall
from Israeli soldiers' bullets ...The father tries in vain to shield the
son with his arms and body....both terrified, helpless...
One "born-to-kill" soldier, apparently a sniper
with manifestly cannibalistic extinct, fires at the terrified child's head....the
father, distraught, grieves,.."my son is dying..my son is dying..." he
raises his hand for help...then the same soldier shoots at the father...silence...then
an ambulance goes in a desperate effort to save the child...the soldier
riddles the ambulance with bullets ....and kills the driver...
If that concrete wall could speak, it would probably weep
a lot before uttering any words...
