Know More About Palestine

Monday March 16, 2009 4:11 PM (EST+7)

This crossing located east of Gaza strip is called "Nahal Oz" in Hebrew. It is indispensable to Palestinians living in Gaza because it is the only crossing designated for transferring fuel into the territory.

Such transfers are supervised and facilitated by the Israeli Dor Company – a major exporter of fuel to Gaza Strip. This crossing consists of a building linked to large pipes on both sides that transfer fuel from Israeli trucks. The type of fuel entering under this provision includes petrol, gasoline, diesel and industrial fuel.
