14 martyrs including two children in an Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip

14 Palestinians, including two children and two brothers and one after sustaining injuries, were killed and roughly 50 more were injured, the condition of seven of whom is described as severe, during an Israeli aggression yesterday in Gaza and Khan Yunis citizens. The Israeli aggression was called by the occupation officials "the summer of the clods" operation during which the occupation forces used all kinds of military tools including warplanes, tank rockets and multiple guns firing. Eyewitnesses reported that around the hour of 5:00 am, the occupation forces, reinforced with military airplanes, invaded in A-Shujae`iyeh quarter east of Gaza city, under sporadic tanks shelling and guns firing. Around the hour of 6:00 am, the occupation forces launched a tank rocket towards two civilian citizens who were present at the center of the quarter, resulted in killing of them and turning their bodies into torn up pieces. The two martyrs are: Nafedh Mahmoud Helles (27), from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, and the teen Ahmad Ayyad Helles (16). In a similar shelling of Israeli tanks that invaded east of A-Shujae`iyeh quarter, the youth A`li Helles, from "Al-Qassam Brigades", was killed while he was present at the eastern line of Gaza city. Medical sources said that the martyr was killed due to the launching of several tanks shelling towards the area that is close to "A-Tawfeeq Mosque" in A-Shujae`yah quarter east of Gaza city. Medical sources declared on the martyrdom of Yousef Khalil Jahha (21) from A-Sabra quarter in Gaza, an element of "Al-Qassam Brigades", during armed clashes with the Israeli forces at A-Shujae`iyeh quarter, while another martyr was evacuated to "A-Shefa`" hospital" as torn up pieces and was identified as Anan Abdula`ziz Al-A`re`ir (22), member of "Al-Qassam Brigades". Eyewitnesses reported that over 15 Israeli vehicles including tanks and bulldozers invaded the area close to "Karni" crossing and in most of the regions that are located east of A-Shujae`iyah quarter. The occupation buldozres leveled the lands, and Israeli Special Forces seized several houses in the areas and stationed on their roofs to fire towards the resistance fighters. Around the hour 11:30 am, the occupation forces assassinated four civilians at A-Shujae`iyah quarter including two brothers and one children. The martyrs are: child I`z A-Dein Said Jundiyeh (10), Hazem Jundiyeh (23), Yousef Al-Manasrah (18) and his brother Sami (28), both are members of "Al-Quds Brigades". The occupation forces arrested 200 citizens from Khuza`a village east of Kahn Yunis district. Furthermore, Raed Fannounah (37), a prominent commander of "Al-Quds Brigades", the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, was killed due to the Israeli occupation warplanes shelling a civilian car that was driving near a police station in A-Shujae`yah quarter east of Gaza city. "Abu Ahmad", spokesperson of "Al-Quds Brigades" revealed that all evidences and signals indicate that the assassination operation of martyr Raed Fannounah was conducted by a booby-trapped car that was placed on the side road of Baghdad Street. Around the hour 3:30 am, Israeli occupation forces penetrated almost 1500 meters in "Khuza`a" village east of Khan Yunis city, reinforced with heavy military vehicles and with warplanes coverage. They broke into residential houses at Abu Reidah quarter and turned them into military posts. Resistance fighters confronted these Israeli forces and armed clashes erupted between the two sides during which two resistance fighters were killed and two more were injured. The two martyrs are: Deya` Abu Daqqah (24), member of "Al-Quds Brigades" and Husam Abu Te`imah (23), member of "Al-Qassam Brigades". Meanwhile, ,medical sources declared on the martyrdom of Zakariyah a-Tatar, a commander of the missiles unit (Al-Quds Brigades) after sustaining injuries last Monday evening during an Israeli air strike on a civil car.
