RAMALLAH, July 1 (JMCC) - Israeli warplanes shelled
Gaza overnight Wednesday. Officials said the missiles struck a workshop and a tunnel being constructed to smuggle people or weapons into
Israel.
There were no reports of casualties in the strikes.
The strike came in response to the Kassam rocket launched earlier Wednesday which hit and damaged a factory in the Sdot Negev Regional Council area. Nobody was injured in the attack.
