RAMALLAH, Aug 1 (JMCC) - Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak held talks in Cairo Sunday with his Israeli counterpart Shimon Peres.
The two met to discuss the resumption of peace talks, which have remained at the indirect level.
The two presidents also discussed a recent decision by the Arab League to grant limited approval for direct talks. Arab foreign ministers last week gave a green light for negotiations, but subject to certain measures and conditions.Read
