JERUSALEM, January 19 (JMCC) - Israeli bulldozers destroyed a water network and bulldozed several dunams of land in the East
Jerusalem neighborhood of
Isawiya Wednesday.
Dozens of trees were uprooted in the demolition operation.
It appeared that the bulldozers were preparing the land for expanding the Israeli
settlement of Gush Adumim, in the eastern part of occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli forces have stepped up demolitions in East Jerusalem since the start of the year, demolishing five Palestinian-owned structures in various parts of the city's occupied eastern half.
