RAMALLAH, Feb 2 (JMCC) - The star of David, a Jewish symbol that appears on the Israeli flag, has been sighted in unlikely places.
Satellite photos from Israel's 23-day offensive in the Gaza Strip last year clearly portray the symbol carved into a Palestinian field, writes the Jerusalem Post.
And in New York, a US company has begun manufacturing traditional headscarves imprinted with the star, along with the Hebrew words, The Jewish nation lives. The owner of the company cites the many Jews who lived in Arab countries prior to the creation of the state of Israel as equal owners of this particular symbol of Palestinian heritage, according to The National.
