RAMALLAH, August 6 (JMCC) - Thousands of Palestinians crossed Qalandiya checkpoint on foot on the first Friday of Ramadan, as the major crossing point was closed to vehicular traffic. Remarkable on this video footage is the absence of men, many of whom it seems didn't even try to enter Jerusalem to pray.
