RAMALLAH Feb 14 (JMCC) - West Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat is readying plans to demolish homes in Silwan that Israeli officials say were built without permission, reports the Jerusalem Post
. Some 100 Palestinian homes stand in the area of the King's Garden, a building plan that the mayor is billing as a model of Palestinian-Israeli coexistence.
