RAMALLAH Feb 18 (JMCC) - Dubai's police have confirmed Mossad involvement in the killing of Hamas commander Mahmoud Mamdouh, reports The National Thursday.

Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, told the Dubai paper for the first time that police investigations indicate that Israel's spy agency was behind Mabhouh’s murder.

“Our investigations reveal that Mossad is involved in the murder of al Mabhouh. It is 99 per cent, if not 100 per cent that Mossad is standing behind the murder,” said Lit. Gen Tamim.

Tamim refused to provide more details of the evidence collected by Dubai authorities. He earlier said that if the Mossad is responsible, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself would be charged with ordering the execution of Mabhouh.

On Thursday, the official declined to say if UAE authorities would issue an arrest warrant for Israel's prime minister.
