In Gaza, scavenging keeps hunger at bay

RAMALLAH, March 4 (JMCC) - Gaza's poor find themselves scavenging for pebbles to earn a few dollars a day.
The work has attracted children, and brings them dangerously close to Gaza's border fence where the Israeli military is stationed.

But with unemployment touching half of Gazan society, the options for other work are few.
