RAMALLAH, March 15 (JMCC) - Israeli soldiers distributed leaflets Monday in the Palestinian villages of
Bilin and
Nilin ordering the areas near the
Wall a closed military area every Friday.
The leaflets included a map designating areas where Palestinians would need a special permit to enter between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm every Friday until mid-August. Internationals and Israeli citizens are banned from the areas entirely, reported Ynet.
The two villages have been the site of protests against the series of
cement walls, barbed wire fences, guard towers and patrol roads that
Israel is constructing through the occupied
West Bank.
