A 99-year-old Palestinian was bitten by a dog as Israeli soldiers raided his house in the West Bank village of Tamoun, reports AP.

Salem Bani Odeh says he was in his bed when soldiers stormed his home and the dog attacked him. Bani Odeh says he was bitten repeatedly in the left ear and shoulder. The Israeli military told AP it was checking the report.

Israeli forces carry out regular nightly raids in the West Bank, arresting Palestinians it says are wanted for security offenses.
