RAMALLAH April 23 (JMCC) Palestinian filmmakers produced three feature films and eight shorts last year, despite facing serious logistical problems and a lack of venues in their own community.

CNN describes these difficulties, speaking to filmmakers Annemarie Jacir and Alia Arasoughly about their work.

I think theres a wave coming -- a lot of new filmmakers, a lot of people making documentaries and more experimental films, working together, Jacir, who created the feature film Salt of This Sea, told CNN.
