Sakher Bseiso, a member of Fateh, was minister of youth and sports in the ninth Palestinian government, between February 2005 and March 2006.

Bseiso was born in 1944 in Bir Saba (now Beersheba, Israel). He studied engineering in Egypt. He joined the Fateh movement, and became head of the General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS) in Asyut, Egypt in 1965. From 1974 until 1981 he served as head of the executive commission of GUPS. Bseiso was a member of the Fateh command in Egypt until 1977, and a member of the Fateh Revolutionary Council since 1974. He also held the post of secretary in the Fateh Revolutionary Council.
From 1982 until 1985 he was the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) representative to Yugoslavia. He then moved to the political department of the PLO and worked as assistant to head of the department. He was in charge of administration, inspection and personnel. He was appointed governor of Khan Younis from 1996 until 2001 and then appointed as governor of northern Gaza from 2001.
