Sinokrot was born in 1955 and holds a degree in industrial production engineering from Britain. Sinokrot was chairman of the Sinokrot Global Group, a food company and the largest family-owned business group in Palestine, established in 1982. He was also chairman of the board for the Palestine Standards Institute, the board of the Palestine Investment and Promotion Agency and the Palestine industrial zones and free zones authority.
