The Palestinian Association For Cultural Exchange (PACE) hosts a number of guided bus tours all over Palestine (all trips begin and end in Ramallah) tel: (02-2958825 / 2986854)

  • Nablus, Ramallah and surroundings:
  • 1 day See the old city of Nablus (Al-Kasabah) and Joseph's Tomb. Explore the Turkish Bath and visit traditional soap factories. Lastly tour the village of Jifna and visit a refugee camp. Leaves Tuesdays at 10:00 (trips to both cities can be arranged separately) Price: NIS 90
     
  • Refugee camp: 3 hrs.
  • A visit to a West bank refugee camp: meet with families and learn about the camp life and background of the Palestinian refugees. Leaves Mondays and Thursdays at 15:00 Price: NIS 35
     
  • Jerusalem: 3 hrs.
  • Walking tour through the four quarters of the Old City. See the sights and learn about the situation of the Palestinians in the city. Leaves daily at 10:00 Price: NIS 40 N.B. Tours focusing on the Israeli settlement policy in and around Jerusalem can be arranged upon request.
     
  • Bethlehem: 3 hrs.
  • Visit the old city market, Church of the Nativity and the Milk Grotto. Leaves several days a week at 10:00 or 15:00 Price: NIS 40 rs.
     
  • Hebron: 6 hrs.
  • Visit the Ibrahimi Mosque, the Arab market & the old city as well as glass and pottery factories. Leaves Sundays and Wednesdays at 10:00 Price: NIS 60
     
  • Jericho and Environs:
  • 1/2 day Enjoy Tel Jericho, Nabi Musa, Hishams' Palace, Mount of Temptation and St. George's Monastery in the Wadi Qelt. Leaves Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30 Price: NIS 60
     
  • Gaza (via Eretz checkpoint):
  • 1 day See Gaza City including a visit to a Palestinian NGO. Learn about Israeli settlements and the problem they cause. Visit refugee camps and Al- Omari Mosque. Leaves Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:00 Price: NIS 130

    In cooperation with Artas Center for Culture and Heritage

    Palestinian teachers and students show their country and cultural heritage to the visitor. The program is geared towards small groups of visitors who like to deviate from the existing tourist routes to discover places which have a rich heritage across dif- ferent cultures. Twice a month on Friday mornings from 8:00 - 14:30 the tours center around Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Hebron. Each journey is designed to present a cultural theme.

  • Bethlehem: A nativity itinierary
  • Parables and moral stories of Palestine
  • Life-giving water
  • The Palestinian household
