    Torrance Shipman (Dunst)is a cheerleading captain leading six-time defending cheerleading champions the Toros against a talented inner-city squad, the East Compton Clovers.The film presents a lighthearted,slightly quirky exploration of the cut-throat but perky world of professional cheerleading competitions.Only days after taking over the reins of her hallowed suburban high school squad, Torrance is presented with the ugly truth about her team's success when a new recruit,Missy (Dushku),a semi-outcast gymnast,realizes that the Toros'cheer was stolen from another team, the Clovers.They are to challenge the Toros for the national championship.Torrance also has to choose between her oily but pretty current boyfriend and Missy's less popular but rocking brother, Cliff (Bradford).

    By far the most intelligent and humorous animated film to be made in a long,long time.The concept is simple:"The Great Escape"-with chickens.Ginger,a plucky young hen,has been trying to escape from Tweedy's Chicken Farm,where the vi- cious Mrs.Tweedy cooks any chicken who doesn't produce enough eggs.Joined by a renegade flying rooster,they try to teach the whole farm to fly.Very funny and deeply touching,this film is for adults and children alike.
