Jerusalem wilderness Highlights: Good Samaritan Inn, Nabi Mousa, St. Goerge's
Monastery, Monastery of Temptation, Deir Hijleh Monastery, Byzantine Church
in Ojah, and Khirbet Qumran. Cost: NIS 120

Saturday 04 December: Ain Harasheh - Ain Qinia Highlights:
A walking tour in the Ramallah area from the spring of Harasheh in Al Mazra'a
Al Qibliyyeh village to the spring of Qinia. Transportation is by bus.

Sunday 05 December: Sebastia (Samaria) Highlights:
The Tell, Hippodrome, Roman Tombs, Nabi Yahya Mosque, the modern village
of Sebastia. (A trip by bus for half a day to Sebastia). Cost: NIS 90

Friday 10 December: Solomon's Pools - Wadi Khreitoun
Highlights: A walking tour in the area of Bethlehem starting from Solomon's
Pools, continuing to the Herodion and ending at Wadi Khreitoun. The trip
from Ramallah to Bethlehem and back is by bus.Cost: NIS 80

Saturday 11 December: Bethlehem and Hebron Highlights:
Church of the Nativity, Solomon's Pools, Shepherd's Fields, Herodion, Halhul,
glass and pottery factories, Haram al Rahmeh, Haram al Ibrahimi (Tombs
of the Patriarchs), the Old City, Tel Al-Rumeida, Russian Church. Cost:

day walking tour in the Qilt valley from the monastery of St. Goerge's
to Tulul Abu Al Alaieq (Herod's Winter Palace) in Jericho. Transportation

Sunday 19 December: Bethlehem and Vicinity Highlights:
Monasteries of st. Saba and Ibn Ubaid, Shepherd's Fields, Herodion, Church

Jerusalem: 3 hrs. Walking tour through the four quarters
of the Old City. See the sights and learn about the situation of the Palestinians

the Israeli settlement policy in and around Jerusalem can be arranged upon

Bethlehem: 3 hrs. Visit the old city market, Church
of the Nativity and the Milk Grotto. Leaves several days a week at 10:00

Hebron: 6 hrs. Visit the Ibrahimi Mosque, the Arab
market & the old city as well as glass and pottery factories. Leaves

city of Nablus (Al-Kasabah) and Joseph's Tomb. Explore the Turkish Bath

In cooperation with Artas Center for Culture and Heritage
Palestinian teachers and students show their
country and cultural heritage to the visitor. The program is geared towards
small groups of visitors who like to deviate from the existing tourist
routes to discover places which have a rich heritage across dif- ferent
cultures. Twice a month on Friday mornings from 8:00 - 14:30 the tours
center around Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Hebron. Each journey is designed
to present a cultural theme.
