Each
year the village of Artas (south of Bethlehem) holds the unique Artas Lettuce
Festival also called the Run-to-Heaven Festival March 21 until April 11
held at the Convent of Hortus Conclusus (Closed Garden). Organized by the
Artas Folklore Center (02) 2744046.

Al-Mawarea, Artas Monastery, Shua'ab Al Sit Luisa, Artas Spring, Herodion
Canal.

12:00-14:00 Rest in Artas - includes traditional Palestinian
lunch, folkloric exhibitions, shopping in Artas.

14:00-16:30 Nature walk (second part): beginning in
Artas valley, Al-Tawaheen Valley, Khalayel Al-Lloz, Ghunaim Valley, Herodion.

16:30 Walk ends and return to Artas.
