JMCC Public Opinion Poll No. 14
On Attitudes of East Jerusalemites on the
Recent Hamas Bombings
March 1996

in cooperation with Kol Ha'ir


Methodology

The Poll was conducted on the evenings of 5 and 6 March 1996. The poll started immediately after the last bombing in Tel-Aviv. The respondents were selected randomly and the interviews were be phones. Respondents in the household were selected using Kish Tables.

263 interviews covered the following areas of East Jerusalem: Jerusalem - Old City, Sheikh Jarrah, Wadi Al-Jouz (33.2%), Issawieh (4.6%), Beit Safafa (3.4%), Beit Hanina (12,9%), A-Tour (7.6%), Um Touba (1.5%).
