About JMCC

The Jerusalem Media and Communications Centre (JMCC) is a vital resource for Palestinian public opinion and politics for policymakers, journalists, and researchers. Its invaluable Daily Summary of the Arabic Press, produced six days a week for over two decades, is a timely means of monitoring translated news articles, editorials, and interviews with Palestinian officials, civil society members and activists, offering English speakers unrivaled access to Palestinian media and political discourse.

JMCC also conducts regular opinion polls among the Palestinian public, providing reliable measures of Palestinian views on political leaders, factions, and current events.

The JMCC was founded in 1988 by a group of Palestinian journalists and researchers committed to providing accurate, timely information from the occupied Palestinian territories.

The JMCC archives-available in both English and Arabic-includes online and print publications on key issues: Israeli settlements, the peace process, access to water, trends in Palestinian public opinion, and analysis from leading Palestinian thinkers.
