Israel cooperated with Republicans to engineer the defeat of the Democratic party in US mid-term elections held Tuesday, charged

Yasser Abed Rabbo on Voice of Palestine Radio.
The Republican party capitalized on ongoing dissatisfaction with the economy in order to capture at least 53 seats in the House of Representatives, thereby splitting control of Congress and crippling the Obama presidency.
Abed Rabbo said that:
these results prove that Israel played a role in these elections and cooperated with US elements in order to use the results to thwart the negotiations. More than anything, this testifies to the Israeli government's intentions in regards to the peace process.
