Summary: Prevalence of pessimism concerning the state, peace and reconciliation

The majority blames Hamas for the failure of the Egyptian efforts on the national dialogue

A majority supports a national unity government

A majority does not trust any Palestinian faction or figure

The truce has not made any difference

The factions retain their popularity with Fatah Movement still taking the lead

The general public is not satisfied with the American role and is not optimistic regarding Obama
