The White House under the Trump administration releases details of its economic objectives to be discussed at a workshop in Manama, Bahrain, June 25-26, 2019. The plan comprises over $50 billion of investment, including a West Bank- Gaza Strip corridor, improvements in tourism facilities, water and wastewater investment and improvements to the Gaza electrical power plant. It proposes to double the Palestinian GDP, create one million Palestinian jobs, and halve the Palestinian poverty rate.
